A lot to see...

So I'm behind on my updates so I've got a lot of pictures to show you!  Yet at the same time I feel like I haven't been that great at taking pictures in the past month.  Can you believe it's been a month since we've added a fifth member to our family?!  Between a bout with mastitis, Vivian with a stomach bug, 2 days later me with that same stomach bug, raising 3 children and keeping the house standing I've been kinda preoccupied.

We've been getting along pretty well, adjusting and getting into a new normal.  Violet has been pretty easy.  In the past 4 or 5 days she's ironed out her days and nights and has been eating twice in the night and almost always goes right right back to sleep within 20 minutes after waking!  At 2 weeks old she weighted 9 pounds 10 ounces!  At 3 weeks old she started smiling.  She's already wearing size one diapers and 0-3 month clothes.

Vivian is my little helper.  She the first to tell me when Violet's awake and needs her "milk" or her "pass" (pacifier).  Vivian always needs to say goodnight to the baby before she goes to bed each night and give her a "boom".  A "boom" is something Matt came up with and is used as a way to say goodbye in our house.  All you have to do is touch pointer finger to pointer finger with the person you are bidding a farewell.  Violet just gets a "boom" to her forehead.  Vivian favorite thing to do right now is play with her baby dolls.  She will wipe their bottoms, put cream on their bottoms and change their diapers all day long.  She also likes to put them in time-out when they are naughty.  Some days those babies spend an awful lot of time in time-out!  When I ask her what they've done it's never good.  Sometimes they "hit", sometimes they "push" and believe it or not those baby dolls "bite" too!  Vivian also has a love for shoes and any given day might wear 5 or 6 different pairs of shoes.  She's quite savvy at putting them on herself.

Oliver loves Violet too but on his own terms.  Typically, he just goes about his normal day but when he wants to he'll get down and "play" with Violet on her play mat or give her a "boom".  Oliver is into Micky Mouse Club House right now.  He request to watch "Mick Mouse" (Micky Mouse) the second I get him up out of bed each morning.  He request to color only Mick Mouse and he'd like to wear the one and only Mick Mouse t-shirt he has every day!  He also loves to play outside and swing his golf "club".  Oliver is sweet boy who request to say more prayers every night after we've finished our nightly prayers.

Last week Vivian and Oliver moved up to the 2 year old room at daycare.  They are really growing up. How did this happen?!  I've been snuggling all 3 of my "babies" as much as they will let me because it's all going so fast.  Before I know it they'll be riding that big yellow bus they get so excited to see come by our house each morning.  Oh boy, I'm not ready for that!

One last picture of my big babies snuggling with the little lady in my belly.

Violet's first bath at home.

It didn't go so well, but I'm happy to report she really enjoys the bath now.

Violet's first morning at home.  Violet is wearing the sleeper Vivian came home in.

Play mat fun!

Getting my snuggles in with Violet.

Here's your "pass" Violet.

My big girl is growing up.  She insisted she wear these flip-flops to the park.

Oliver could swing for hours.

Violet and Vivian were wearing their first matching outfits.

The first documented purposeful smile.  Not the best pictures but her smiles are precious!

What?  Am I too big for this bouncy seat?

Vivian going down the slide at the park!

On our way to daycare and she insisted she wear these "heels".  I won the battle and these heels were traded for sandals.

Sister love.

And a kiss.
